1. The Edge of a Social Media Milestone

I’m nearly at a social media milestone, much like Jose Canseco in 1988:

15 Likes away from 5,900 on Facebook
72 Subscribers away from 2,000 on YouTube
84 Followers away from 7,000 on Twitter

Make me a member of the 5900/2000/7000 club without the use of PEDs.

  2. #73 in the Dutch Album Charts

And the Dutch love keeps on coming. This week my NYC concept album, If You Don’t Like It, You Can Leave debuted on the NL Album Charts at #73. Thanks so much to all you dutchies showing my tunes love. Working on a trip back in the fall, so stay tuned!

  3. I played the legendary Paradiso in Amsterdam Saturday. It was a bucket list show for me. Click here for some great pics of the show courtesy of Femke de Schepper from Feesthoppers.nl.

  4. Ask Me Another This Wednesday

This Wednesday I reprise my role as guest musician on NPR’s Ask Me Another. I’ll be kicking out the jams, playing Paul Schaffer to Ophira Eisenberg’s Letterman. The guests will be Lev Grossman, author of NY Times Bestseller The Magician. We’ll also be joined by John Flansburgh of They Might Be Giants filling the role of puzzle guru. It’s gonna be a great one and there are still tickets left, just follow the link above. Would love to see your smiling faces at the taping!

  5. Radio 6 NL Morning Show Performance

Earlier this week I stopped into Radio 6 to visit morning DJ Jaap Brienen. We had a chat and I played three tunes for him, including my version of Michael Jackson’s Classic, The Way You Make Me Feel. Funny things happen at 9am. Relive it all in the link.

  6. My visit to Gerard Ekdom at 3FM

As you may know by now, my single I Don’t Know How To Drive is getting lots of love in the Netherlands. It was song of the week on Radio6 NL and can be heard regularly on Radio 1. While in Holland touring, I paid a visit to 3FM DJ Gerard Ekdom and madness ensued. I played a couple songs and ate the grossest thing ever - a frikandel. Click on the link to watch in all it’s glory.
